Join the Walk of Hope

A Message from NLCCE Member, David Taylor, In Sue’s Name

There’s still time for you to sign up for our Walk of Hope! It starts today, but lasts a full month and we really need your support.

Last year the In Sue’s Name Walk of Hope raised over £43,000 – an enormous amount of money for a small charity like ours.  Sadly we know all too well the devastation caused by brain cancers, having lost our beloved Sue to this cruel disease. We can’t bear the thought of future families suffering such a profound loss, which is why we’re absolutely determined to raise funds into causes and cures for brain cancers.

The premise of the Walk of Hope is very simple – we are asking you to aim to walk 100km during the Month of March, and try to raise £100 in sponsorship money for us. It’s a great way to up your daily exercise now spring is (hopefully!) around the corner – absolutely every penny raised goes to funding research and supporting families affected by brain cancer.

Sadly, brain cancers have the lowest government funding of all – which is why your help means everything to us.

If you’ve been sitting on the fence, meaning to sign up to the Walk of Hope – please take this as a gentle nudge to remind you to get going and click here! If this is the first you’ve heard of our challenge and you want to do your bit to help eradicate brain cancers, please click here to sign up now.

With many thanks in advance for your support

Best wishes

David and the team at In Sue’s Name
