Enfield Norse wins cleaning contract for new-build school

A new £10 million, purpose-built school in Enfield, Orchardside School, will provide facilities for the Secondary Tuition Service which currently operates across at other sites across the borough.

Enfield Norse has won the contract to provide a range of cleaning services to the school, including daily cleans of staff and class rooms, toilets and communal areas, and periodic deep cleans.

“This will be a flagship site for us within the borough, with up to 100 students using the facility,” Norse Operations Director Robert Trewick said. “We are absolutely delighted to be working with such a prestigious new project and one that is to be part of a service is rated outstanding by Ofsted.”

The three-year contract is worth around £90k to Enfield Norse.

The students who will attend Orchardside will benefit from a more personalised supportive educational setting outside of mainstream schools, with a broad curriculum and the opportunity for the students to take GCSEs.
