Enfield council Licencing Policy Statement Consultation

Classification: OFFICIAL

To all NLCCE Members,

Enfield Council are in the process of consulting on our Licencing Policy Statement and we would welcome your thoughts.

As you will be aware, The Licensing Act 2003 is the means by which the Council licenses the sale/supply of alcohol and the provision of regulated entertainment and late night refreshment in the borough. The Act requires the Council to review and publish its Licensing Policy every five years. The policy was last reviewed and published on 28 January 2015.

Whilst we have not altered the policy, the guidance/orders, statistics and organisations listed in the statement have changed over the years. So, we have updated these areas and would like to hear your views.

The consultation is now available on the Council website (https://new.enfield.gov.uk/consultations/draft-licensing-policy-statement/).

The deadline for responses is 22 September 2019.

If you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact the Licensing Team (licensing@enfield.gov.uk.)
