Barnet’s Local Plan Consultation on North Finchley Town Centre Framework – Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) Draft
Public Consultation – Monday 16th October – Monday 27th November 2017
The Council is consulting on the draft North Finchley Town Centre Framework SPD which sets an approach for revitalising one of the largest town centres in Barnet.
Guidance set out in this document will be a material consideration in making decisions on planning applications.
The Draft SPD is available online from the 16th October 2017 for a period of six weeks at www.engage.barnet.gov.uk, during which time the public is invited to comment on the proposed document.
The consultation will take place from Monday 16th October until Monday 27th November 2017
Where can I view the documents?
During the consultation period, the complete versions of the SPD will be available, along all background documents at: The Planning Reception at Barnet House, Whetstone, Online http://engage.barnet.gov.uk/ and at North Finchley library – opening times at www.barnet.gov.uk/libraries

All comments must be received by Monday 23 November 2017

Once consultation closes on the draft SPD we will consider responses and revisions to the SPD. We would expect to adopt a final SPD in early 2018.
As part of the public consultation you are invited to the following drop-in events at North Finchley Library where members of the consultant team will be at hand to discuss the Draft SPD and answer any questions that you might have:
• 2-5pm Saturday 4th November 2017
• 2-5pm Saturday 11th November 2017
• 4-8pm Tuesday 14th November 2017

A online and hard copy questionnaire will also be available for the public to provide feedback on the Draft SPD. Following this, our team will consider representations and revise the SPD where appropriate before putting it to the Policy and Resources Committee for approval.
