We are delighted to welcome Bambos Charalambous MP, as our guest speaker at this event. Bambos Charalambous has been the Member of Parliament for Southgate and Wood Green, previously Enfield Southgate, since 2017 and will be speaking on the topic of Regenerating Our High Streets – which will cover:
- Making the high street more attractive
- Tackling crime and anti-social behaviour
- Creating in-person experiences that cannot be recreated in online shopping
- Connectivity and community

Speaker Profile
Bambos Charalambous has been the Member of Parliament for Southgate and Wood Green, previously Enfield Southgate, since 2017. He currently sits on both the Procedure and Administration Committees in Parliament. Bambos is the Chair of several All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs), including the APPG for Global Education, the APPG for Music Education, and the APPG for Opera. While in Opposition, he was held a shadow ministerial position in both the Home Office and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Prior to his election as an MP, he served as a councillor on Enfield Council and worked as a solicitor, specialising in housing at Hackney Council.
