Green Sector Business Forum Event: Building Community Heat Networks with Energetik
The North London Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Green Business Sector Forum presents:
Improve Your Energy Efficiency!
Building Community Heat Networks with Energetik – Enfield Council’s Low Carbon – Green Energy Business
Presented by Jeff Laidler, Head of Sustainability at Enfield Council
At: Fortuna Mobility Centre, 4 Northgate Business Centre. Crown Road, Enfield, EN1 1TG
Community heat networks provide heating and hot water to homes, public buildings and businesses. They are central heating systems that are shared through a network by a whole community. The networks are adaptable and can keep growing and other heat sources can be used in addition to the Energy Centres, such as waste heat from industrial processes. Energetik is currently working on a series of heat networks in regeneration areas across the Enfield borough including:
- Meridian Water heat network
- Arnos Grove heat network
- Ponders End heat network
Find out about green energy networks and how Energetik plans to work with North London’s businesses and the local community and learn how to use your energy more efficiently and cut carbon.
